What is anointing oil

For healing purposes, apply oil on a diseased area of the body or area where pain is felt. For example: apply oil to the lowerback to reduce kidney pain, apply to the lower abdomen in case of irregular menstruation, apply on the upper abdomen to stimulate appetite & digestion.

Herbal oil can be used as a compress by moistening a thin cloth or bandage in the oil and applying it to the body.

To relieve emotional pain & overcome addictions, pleasure your body & mind: put a few drops of oil on yourself: wrists, forehead, neck or in aroma diffuser, dress candles.

By the way, most infused oils are excellent massage oils for feet, hands, neck and whole body.

Infused oils work great as aphrodisiacs, just put a small amount on your lower abdomen area/ pubis and on sensitive parts of your body. Aphrodisiacs can be used with aroma diffusers.

For natural hair treatment, apply oil on your scalp and hair, leave the mask for not less than 1 hour, after that wash your hair and style as usual.

For inner well-being, put anointing oil with clear intent over symbolical parts of your body: hands, arms, neck, forehead, temple, wrists, feet. We recommend putting anointing oil on your hands, wrists, feet or neck. You don't need to cover your e.g wrists fully with oil, its enough to cover a part, but you can pour oil over your head or entire body if you or your tradition wish so.
As for anointing hands, there are practices ( usually connected with the attraction something positive) when anointing your hands with oil fully is highly recommended.

Dress candle with anointing oil for attracting something, banishing, purification and space cleansing. In some practices, oils and herbs are put on the object that connected with a person and his/her wish.
